In 2009, I established Future Stars’ Learning Centre (FSLC). I am an experienced teacher, and I have level 2 classification. In China, I graduated from Jiangxi Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Engineering, and I also possess an accountant certificate. I always do my best to give children a fulfilling experience, and I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service.

I joined FSLC in 2012 and I am now enjoying my work at Future Stars’ Learning Centre.
My name is Jocelyn. I am an ECE level 2 childcare instructor. I have been working in the childcare field for about 10 years now. During my time in this field I have worked with children of various ages. I truly love working with each of these groups of children. I believe children learn through play and discovery and that it is my job to enhance their curiosity and want of leaning. I also studied sign language for three years and hold a level 3 certification. I believe working with children is the most rewarding career. As a childcare instructor it is my job to provide an environment which is both safe and educational but also meets the needs of each individual child and their parents. Prior to coming to Canada I was a preschool teacher. Along with this I am a certified 'rainbows' facilitator. I worked with a group of 15-18 year old youth for two years. It was a group session where we met on a regular basis to talk about difficult times in these kids’ lives. This was a very rewarding position to hold.
Sherry Phillips My name is Sherry Phillips. I have been working with different age children for over 30 years. I started my Early Childhood Education at the Nova Scotia Teacher's College in Truro in 1983-84. I had 12 years working experience as an Educational Assistant to deal with children with developmental issues and challenges at Truro School Board. I obtained my Early Childhood Education Diploma from Holland College, PEI in 2010 and worked at several different daycare centers with different age groups. I am very excited to be working at Future Stars' Early Learning Centre and look forward to teaching your children and meeting all their parents.

I obtained a diploma in Early Childhood Education from New Brunswick Community College in 2003, and graduated with a degree in Child and Youth Studies from MSVU in 2006. I have 9 years of teaching experience with different age groups in the early childhood field. I also had amazing one term working experience as a junior primary teacher and head teacher of afterschool care in a local private school. I love to provide activities that fully engage the children's mind and body.
